In today’s announcement, the Premium Bond results for November 2025 revealed the winners of two £1 million prizes. The first lucky winner, from Shropshire, holds the maximum £50,000 in Premium Bonds with the winning bond number 258GE105589 purchased in October 2015. The second £1 million winner resides in York and also has £50,000 in Premium Bonds, with the winning bond number 568FY679677 bought in February 2024.
Premium Bonds, offered by National Savings & Investment (NS&I), differ from traditional savings products as they involve a monthly prize draw instead of a fixed interest rate. Prizes range from £25 to £1 million, but winning is not guaranteed, with the majority of prizes being smaller amounts.
Each month, thousands of £25 prizes are awarded, while there are only two £1 million prizes available. The maximum amount that can be saved in Premium Bonds is £50,000, with each £1 investment receiving a unique bond number. The odds of winning a prize each month are 22,000 to 1 for every £1 bond.
Andrew Westhead, NS&I Retail Director, congratulated the two jackpot winners, stating that they are now a million pounds richer as they enter the festive season. Winners are notified by email or text message and can choose to have the prize money deposited into their bank account or reinvested in Premium Bonds.
To check if they have won, individuals can use the NS&I online prize checker tool or the Premium Bonds prize checker app. The current prize fund rate, equivalent to an interest rate, stands at 3.60%. While the prize fund rate has slightly decreased in recent months, the number of smaller prizes has increased.
Despite these changes, two £1 million prizes are still awarded monthly. The most recent reduction in the prize fund rate to 3.60% occurred in the August 2025 draw. Nearly 23 million people hold Premium Bonds.
