Hyperoptic, a leading broadband provider, has announced an increase in monthly bills for its customers starting in April 2026. The price hike of £4 per month represents a larger jump compared to the previous rise of £3 per month. This adjustment will impact both new and existing customers across all Hyperoptic broadband plans. Despite previously advocating against annual price increases, Hyperoptic now joins other telecom giants in implementing significant price adjustments.

Sky Mobile has also unveiled a price increase of £1.50 per month for the majority of its customers, effective from February 14, 2026. This change marks the first adjustment for in-contract customers by Sky Mobile in over seven years. O2 has similarly announced a raise in monthly mobile bills by £2.50 per month for almost all mobile and SIM-only contract customers, starting in April 2026, which is an increase from the initially planned £1.80 raise.

Three mobile customers subscribing to data plans of 4GB or less will experience a price surge of £1.80 per month from April 2026, an increase of 80p compared to the current £1 raise. Customers with plans ranging from 4GB to 100GB will face a £1.90 monthly increase, while those with over 100GB will see a rise of £2.30 per month. Additionally, Three broadband customers will witness a £3.50 monthly bill increase from April 2026.

Vodafone mobile customers signing up from November 12 will encounter a £2.50 monthly bill rise, or £1.50 for Basics SIM plans. Vodafone broadband users, on the other hand, will experience a £3.50 monthly price hike. For existing customers of Vodafone or Three, the price increase will adhere to the previously agreed amount.

Consumers who are out of contract may find themselves overpaying for their mobile and broadband services. To save money, individuals are advised to compare prices online, assess their actual usage of minutes, texts, or broadband speed, and consider switching providers or negotiating better deals with their current provider. Those receiving benefits should also check for eligibility for discounted social tariffs.
