Disney+ is currently offering a discounted subscription price in a special promotion to compete with Netflix and HBO Max. New and eligible returning subscribers can now sign up for Disney+ at £3.99 per month for three months for a limited time.

Typically priced at £5.99 per month for the Standard with Ads tier, customers can take advantage of this offer to get three months of subscription for the cost of two. To benefit from this reduced rate, interested customers must register for Disney+ by May 6.

By signing up before the deadline, subscribers will secure the £3.99 monthly rate for three months, making Disney+ the most cost-effective major streaming service when compared to Netflix (£5.99), Prime Video (£5.99), HBO Max (£4.99), and Apple TV (£9.99).

After the promotional period, the subscription will automatically renew at the standard £5.99 rate unless cancelled. Customers aged 18 and above can opt for the ad-supported plan at £3.99, with the option to upgrade to the ad-free Disney+ Standard for £6.99 (previously £9.99) or Disney+ Premium for £9.99 (previously £14.99).

The more expensive plans offer additional benefits such as higher picture quality up to 4K UHD and HDR, Dolby Atmos support, and up to four simultaneous streams. Sky has also started offering a free Disney+ subscription as part of its Ultimate TV bundle, which includes Netflix and HBO Max.

Starting at £5.99 per month, a Disney+ subscription provides access to popular series like Rivals, Only Murders in the Building, and The Bear, along with a vast library of content from Marvel, Star Wars, Pixar, and more. This package, priced at £24 per month, includes free streaming subscriptions valued at approximately £240 per year and access to channels like Sky Atlantic.

As Disney+ prepares for the second season of Rivals, viewers can look forward to new releases like The Testaments, a dystopian drama set after The Handmaid’s Tale events, and the second part of the conspiracy-thriller Paradise. Additionally, fan-favorite shows like Scrubs and Malcolm in the Middle have returned with revival series on Disney+.

For reality TV enthusiasts, Disney+ offers shows like Raising Chelsea, showcasing Jamie Laing and Sophie Habboo navigating parenthood. The platform has gained recognition for hosting beloved franchises and has garnered positive reviews on Trustpilot.

Customers have praised Disney+ for its extensive catalog, quality content, and affordability. While some users have raised concerns about the frequency of ads during shows, others appreciate the platform’s selection, user-friendly interface, and customer service.
