New images have captured global support for Iranian protesters as they rally against Ayatollah Ali Khamenei’s repressive regime. The Supreme Leader has violently suppressed dissent, with reports suggesting that around 2,500 individuals may have lost their lives amid anti-government demonstrations over economic hardships. Demonstrators in Iran have been joined by supporters from various countries, all condemning the violence and calling for change.
Impressive photographs depict solidarity actions in the UK, Korea, Israel, Germany, Turkey, and other nations, all aiming to end the oppressive rule in Iran. Some visuals show individuals burning images of the Ayatollah and donning Iran’s pre-revolution “Lion and Sun” flag, symbolizing a desire for freedom from the current leadership. Additionally, the flag has been raised alongside pictures of Reza Pahlavi, the exiled crown prince and son of the former Shah of Iran, Mohammad Reza Pahlavi, who is being considered as a potential replacement for the current regime.
Protesters in Romania have displayed images of Reza Pahlavi, while demonstrators in Germany have worn the colors of Iran’s previous flag. In Paris, signs supporting Reza Pahlavi were held up, and in Switzerland, some individuals burned photos of Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. Shiite Muslims in Pakistan have also expressed dissent against the Iranian government, and in Chile, residents protested outside Iran’s embassy in Santiago. In Washington, a large Persian flag was laid outside the White House, and in Seoul, protesters gathered outside the Iranian Embassy. Moreover, Londoners staged demonstrations outside the Houses of Parliament in solidarity with the Iranian protesters.
