Nathan Fielder, the well-known Vancouver comedian, writer, and director, has unveiled a teaser for his upcoming documentary project. The film, titled “You Can See Everything,” co-created with filmmaker Lance Oppenheim, focuses on the period leading to the imprisonment of Elizabeth Holmes in 2023. Holmes, the founder of Theranos, was convicted of fraud in 2022 for falsely claiming to have developed revolutionary blood testing technology. Oppenheim, known for works like “Spermworld” (2024) and “Some Kind of Heaven” (2020), collaborated with Fielder on this project.

Fielder gained fame through his show “Nathan For You,” where he humorously dispensed misguided business advice to entrepreneurs. “You Can See Everything” is set to be released in theaters soon, with distribution by A24. The trailer, characterized by A24’s distinct visual style, features a compelling one-minute scene between Fielder and Holmes, hinting at intense exchanges.

The teaser was revealed alongside a surprise screening at the Telluride Film Festival, generating positive initial reactions from critics on social media. Director Daniel Howat described the documentary as “hysterical, shocking, insane,” while music producer Erik Nordgren hailed it as the best film of the year.

Fielder’s latest project draws parallels to his past interviews, such as the memorable encounter with former CBC president Hubert T. Lacroix. “You Can See Everything” promises an intriguing exploration of the events surrounding Holmes’s legal troubles and is eagerly anticipated for its theatrical release next month.
