Camilla, adorned in a striking blue outfit by Fiona Clare and a hat by Philip Treacy, accompanied King Charles to greet the Trumps at Windsor Castle. The President and Melania were received at Windsor Castle by Prince William and Princess Kate to mark the official beginning of their visit.
Princess Kate exuded charm as she welcomed Donald and Melania Trump upon their arrival in Windsor for their unprecedented second state visit to the UK. Wearing an Emilia Wickstead dress and a hat by Jane Taylor, Kate, along with William, greeted the US guests before they were escorted to meet the King and Queen.
The highlight of President Trump’s state visit will be the state banquet on Wednesday night at St George’s Hall, where a table can accommodate up to 160 guests. The President is scheduled to visit Prime Minister Starmer at Chequers on Thursday for meetings and attend a business reception hosted by Chancellor Rachel Reeves.
Meanwhile, Melania will remain at Windsor for various engagements with Queen Camilla and Princess Kate before reuniting with the President on Thursday evening. The visit will also include a wreath-laying ceremony at Queen Elizabeth’s grave at St George’s Chapel, followed by a brief tour for the President and First Lady.
