Carlos Alcaraz and Juan Carlos Ferrero have ended their coaching relationship after a successful seven-year partnership. Ferrero began coaching Alcaraz when he was just 15 years old, guiding him to six Grand Slam titles, the world No. 1 ranking, and an Olympic silver medal. The decision to part ways was announced shortly after Ferrero and Samuel Lopez received the 2025 ATP Coach of the Year Award for their work with Alcaraz. Alcaraz shared the news on social media, expressing gratitude for their journey together and looking forward to new adventures. Ferrero also posted a heartfelt message, reminiscing about their shared experiences and thanking the entire team for their support. Alcaraz continues to be coached by Samuel Lopez at Ferrero’s academy in Alicante, with no public explanation for Ferrero’s departure.
