The recently debuted Falcons Flight roller coaster at the Six Flags resort in Qiddiya City has set new records as the world’s tallest and fastest roller coaster. Standing at a towering height of 195m, Falcons Flight surpasses the iconic Big Ben in London by more than double its height. This £740 million project is part of the extensive Qiddiya City development in Saudi Arabia’s Riddiyah province, expected to attract approximately 17 million visitors annually.

In addition to Falcons Flight, the Six Flags resort in Qiddiya City boasts other impressive attractions, including the Sirocco Tower, recognized as the world’s tallest freestanding shot tower at 145m, and the Gyrospin, claiming the title of the tallest pendulum ride with a 53m swing. Notably, the Iron Rattler at the park stands as the tallest tilt coaster at 63.4m, and the Spitfire roller coaster reaches a height of 73m, making it the world’s tallest inverted triple-launch roller coaster.

Manufacturers Intamin completed the construction of Falcons Flight in December 2024, after commencing work in April 2023. The roller coaster has already garnered attention from thrill-seekers worldwide, with YouTube creator Shawn Sanbrooke describing his experience as “phenomenal” and “incredible.” Shawn expressed his awe at the ride’s height and praised the surrounding mountainous landscape, labeling the launch as a significant moment for adrenaline enthusiasts.

The Six Flags resort in Qiddiya City is not only a hub for record-breaking rides but also features attractions like a custom-built Formula One track, a Dragon Ball theme park, and a water park. As one of the first attractions to open in the city, Six Flags continues to draw visitors with its impressive lineup of thrill rides and entertainment options.
