Ryan Garcia has expressed skepticism about the upcoming heavyweight bout between Jake Paul and Anthony Joshua. The anticipated fight is scheduled for December 19 in Miami, set to run for eight rounds of three minutes each with both fighters using 10oz gloves. Despite the build-up, Garcia doubts the fight will happen, citing significant size differences between the two fighters. Joshua, who last fought in September 2024, intended to return to the ring soon before accepting the challenge from Paul. The pair recently met at a press conference in Miami, where Garcia raised concerns about the feasibility of the bout.

In response to Garcia’s doubts, Jake Paul strongly criticized the professional boxer, highlighting Garcia’s recent fights and questioning his credibility. After a previous fight with Gervonta Davis fell through, Paul had expressed interest in facing Garcia, but streaming service DAZN, where Garcia is connected, did not allow the switch.

The fight between Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul is scheduled to be broadcast live on Netflix on December 19. The event will be available for free to fans with Sky’s £15 Essential TV bundle. The timing of the fight is set to accommodate the American audience, with a likely ring walk around 11 pm local time, translating to 4 am UK time. The event’s streaming platform and schedule are subject to change based on the undercard duration.
