Amazon has revealed a lineup of new products, signaling a good time for Echo, Fire TV Stick, and Kindle owners to consider an upgrade. The tech giant showcased these updates in New York, promising availability in their online store soon.
Among the highlights are four new Echo speakers, including the Echo Dot Max and a revamped Echo Studio. These speakers boast improved aesthetics, enhanced Alexa capabilities, and superior sound quality. The Echo Dot Max, in particular, touts nearly triple the bass compared to its predecessor.
Additionally, the Echo Studio has been redesigned to be 40% smaller while maintaining top-notch sound output. For those seeking a screen-equipped device, Amazon introduced two new Echo Show speakers – the Show 8 and Show 11. These models feature upgraded displays for enhanced viewing experiences and adaptive ambient visuals.
Both Echo Show devices come with a revamped audio setup, including front-facing stereo speakers and a custom woofer for immersive spatial audio. Amazon didn’t solely focus on Echo speakers at the event. They also unveiled the Scribe Colorsoft, a new addition to the Kindle lineup. This device boasts an 11-inch color display, ideal for reading comics and catering to artistic endeavors.
The Scribe Colorsoft boasts a lightweight design, texture-molded glass screen, built-in backlight for nighttime reading, and a faster processor for improved performance. Despite the color screen, Amazon ensures extended battery life. Another notable release is the Fire TV Stick 4K Select, offering enhanced 4K visuals at a more affordable price point compared to its Ultra HD counterparts.
The event also introduced new Fire TV screens and an updated Ring Doorbell featuring 4K video recordings. All these innovative devices are set to hit the market shortly.
