Apple has unveiled its latest iPhone model, the iPhone 17e, offering significant enhancements at an affordable price point. Priced at £599, the device boasts a speedy A19 processor, MagSafe charging capabilities, a durable design, and an impressive single-lens camera, making it £200 cheaper than the flagship iPhone.
Notably, Samsung has also introduced new budget-friendly smartphones, the A57 and A37, starting at just £399. While these models may not match the performance and advanced charging features of the iPhone 17e, they do sport a 6.7-inch screen with 120Hz technology, providing smoother navigation and gameplay compared to the 60Hz display on the iPhone 17e.
The Galaxy A57 and A37 come equipped with large 5,000mAh batteries, triple lens cameras, and P68 water and dust resistance ratings. Samsung has integrated various smart features into these devices, such as Google’s Circle to Search for quick web queries and enhanced photo editing tools like Object Eraser and Edit Suggestions for effortless image customization and sharing.
Additionally, Samsung has enhanced its Voice Transcription capability within the Voice Recorder app, enabling users to transcribe call recordings and convert voicemail audio into text swiftly. The company pledges extended software support for the Galaxy A57 5G and A37 5G, guaranteeing up to six Android OS and One UI updates and six years of security patches.
Both models will be released on Samsung.com on April 10th, with the Galaxy A57 5G priced from £529 and the Galaxy A37 5G starting at £399. The Galaxy A57 5G will be available in Awesome Navy, Awesome Grey, Awesome Icyblue, and Awesome Lilac colors, while the Galaxy A37 5G will come in Awesome Lavender, Awesome Charcoal, Awesome Greygreen, and Awesome White variants.
