Apple has revealed its newest iPhone lineup during a live event from its California base. The company introduced the iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Pro, iPhone 17 Pro Max, and iPhone Air. Pre-orders for these models will start at 1 pm on September 12, with availability commencing on September 19.
Various retailers, including Sky Mobile, EE, Mobiles.co.uk, Vodafone, and Three, have confirmed that they will carry the new devices, although prices are yet to be disclosed. Customers can also opt to purchase the phones outright from Apple and Amazon beginning September 12.
The highlight of the iPhone series is the iPhone Air, touted as the thinnest iPhone to date. It weighs 165g and is only 5.1mm thick. Crafted with a Grade 5 titanium frame made from 80% recycled titanium, Apple claims the device is both strong and elegant.
The iPhone Air boasts a 6.5″ Super Retina XDR display with a durable Ceramic Shield for enhanced crack and scratch resistance. It is powered by the latest A19 Pro chip, ensuring top-notch performance. Additionally, buyers can enjoy a free seven-day trial of Apple TV+ for streaming popular shows.
The phone’s battery life has been significantly improved, offering up to 27 hours of video playback on a single charge and quick charging to 50% in 30 minutes. Photography enthusiasts will appreciate the 48MP Fusion camera system and 8MP Centre Stage front camera for high-resolution images.
The iPhone Air comes with iOS 26 out of the box, featuring liquid glass and advanced AI capabilities for a seamless user experience. It is available in storage options of 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB, with color choices of Sky Blue, Cloud White, Light Gold, and Space Black.
