Solfest, a music and arts festival situated on the Solway coast near Silloth in Cumbria, was founded in 2004 and has featured performances from renowned artists like The Charlatans, James, The Fratellis, Supergrass, The Levellers, and The Proclaimers.
The most recent iteration of the festival occurred in August 2025, showcasing headliners The Doves and Leftfield. However, the team behind Solfest has announced the company’s liquidation. The fate of individuals holding tickets for Solfest 2026, planned for August 27 to 30, remains uncertain. Tickets for the 2026 event were made available for purchase in September.
