Two teenagers were fatally shot at a bus stop in Seattle, with the perpetrator still on the run. The incident occurred near Rainier Avenue South and South Henderson Street on Friday, January 30, just before 4pm. Upon arrival, the police discovered the victims with fatal gunshot injuries.
Seattle Police Department responded quickly, providing initial medical aid to the victims until the Seattle Fire Department took over. Unfortunately, both teenagers were pronounced dead at the scene. The police are treating the case as a double homicide and are actively investigating the matter.
The suspect managed to flee the scene on foot before law enforcement arrived, leading to a search that did not yield any results. The area was secured by police for further investigation by homicide detectives and the Crime Scene Investigation Unit.
