Just a couple of days ago, Elon Musk clarified that the emails he exchanged with Jeffrey Epstein, a convicted sex offender, were misinterpreted, emphasizing that he never visited Epstein’s private island despite the correspondence shown in documents released by the US Department of Justice.
The newly disclosed files from the US Department of Justice suggest that Elon Musk engaged in discussions with Epstein about attending a party on Epstein’s island. One email from Musk dated November 25, 2012, inquired about the timing of the wildest party on the island.
It is highlighted by the House Committee that being mentioned in the released documents does not imply any wrongdoing, with names appearing in various contexts from social interactions to business-related discussions.
The email exchange between Musk and Epstein occurred around four years after Epstein’s conviction for soliciting a minor for prostitution in 2008. In one email, Epstein asked Musk about the number of people flying to the island by helicopter, to which Musk responded that he and his then-wife were likely the only attendees.
Another email from Musk to Epstein inquired about potential parties during the Christmas period, showcasing their communication on various topics. Musk later defended himself on social media, asserting his dedication to exposing child abusers and advocating for the protection of vulnerable children. He denied attending any of Epstein’s events or engaging in any wrongdoing, despite the accusations against him.
