A lawyer named Mark Zuckerberg is taking legal action against Facebook for repeatedly removing his page. The Indiana-based attorney invested heavily in advertising his bankruptcy services on Facebook, only to have his page removed for allegedly impersonating the famous CEO.

Mark Zuckerberg claims he has faced death threats and harassment from individuals mistaking him for the Facebook founder. Despite spending £8,000 on promoting his law practice, his account has been unjustly taken down five times in the past eight years.

In a statement to local news, Mr. Zuckerberg expressed frustration over the situation, emphasizing the financial loss caused by Facebook’s actions. The lawsuit, filed in Marion Superior Court, alleges that Meta breached its contract by removing his paid advertisements without valid reasons.

The lawyer compared the situation to purchasing a billboard advertisement, only to have it covered up, depriving him of the benefits he paid for. Despite providing multiple forms of identification to prove his authenticity, including photo ID and credit cards, Facebook continued to accuse him of using an inauthentic name.

Following the lawsuit, Mr. Zuckerberg’s account was reinstated after being mistakenly disabled in May. Facebook acknowledged the error and expressed gratitude for his patience, committing to prevent similar incidents in the future.
