Despite the club’s prominent portrayal in the series, Netflix was not granted access to film within Mar-a-Lago. Consequently, discontent among other members has surfaced, with plans reportedly underway to expel Rosalyn from the club following her appearance on the show.
Sources revealed to Page Six that a group of members is orchestrating a collective effort to demand the revocation of Rosalyn’s membership. The discontent stems from a perceived distaste for the show, which some members have labeled as “cheesy.” Criticisms have been voiced, questioning the authenticity and relevance of the cast members’ social standing within Palm Beach.
Rosalyn, an active presence at Mar-a-Lago, frequently showcases the club on her Instagram account, featuring posts with notable figures like President Trump. She is also slated to host a charity brunch at the club in the near future.
In response to the backlash, Rosalyn expressed disappointment at the misrepresentation of the show, emphasizing her longstanding commitment to philanthropy and charitable endeavors within the club. Meanwhile, the Netflix series, released on December 29th, also highlights the experiences of other cast members such as Hilary Musser, Taja Abitbol, Ro-mina Ustayev, and Maria Cozamanis. Maria, who appeared emotional during the show, later clarified that her tears were a result of personal struggles she was facing at the time of filming.
