Samsung recently introduced the Galaxy S25 FE (Fan Edition), a more affordable option, but it pales in comparison to Motorola’s upcoming budget-friendly moto g06, priced at just £69.99, nearly one-tenth the cost of the FE device.
Despite its low price, the moto g06 boasts impressive features. It sports a vibrant 6.88-inch display, a 50MP rear camera, splash-proof design, and a luxurious soft texture finish. Additionally, the phone includes Gorilla Glass 3 for screen protection, expandable storage via a microSD card, a rare feature in modern phones.
The moto g06 also offers bonus features like stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos and Bass Boost technology, along with a MediaTek Helio G81 Extreme chipset. Motorola promises smart AI upgrades such as Circle to Search with Google and image editing tools like Magic Editor, Magic Eraser, and Photo Unblur.
In addition to the moto g06, Motorola is set to release the moto g06 power, featuring a larger 7000mAh battery that can easily last all day and beyond. Motorola claims that users can enjoy up to two and a half days of battery life on a single charge. The moto g06 power will be available for £89.99 in the UK next month.
Miles Norman, UK&I Country General Manager at Motorola, expressed pride in delivering remarkable features at an affordable price point with the moto g06 and g06 power. He highlighted the g06 power’s substantial battery capacity designed to cater to today’s always-on lifestyles, emphasizing Motorola’s commitment to making powerful and reliable technology accessible globally.
