Tennis legend Bjorn Borg reveals his battle with prostate cancer in his upcoming autobiography, set to be released on September 18. Titled “Heartbeat,” the book co-authored by Borg and his wife Patricia will unveil his private struggle with the disease that he has kept confidential until now.

The autobiography will be available in various countries including the USA, UK, Australia, New Zealand, Spain, Latin America, the Netherlands, Italy, and Borg’s home country, Sweden. Despite the book’s release being kept under wraps, reports suggest that Borg will limit media access for reviews and will be selective with interviews to promote the book.

Although the book’s release was intended to be a surprise, early availability in Italy through online platforms like Amazon has brought attention to Borg’s cancer diagnosis. Known for his dominance in tennis during the 1970s, Borg secured five Wimbledon titles and six French Open victories, solidifying his status as one of the sport’s most beloved figures.

Acknowledged for his elegant playing style, Borg is credited with attracting a new wave of fans to tennis during the rise of color television. Gunilla Bergmark from Norstedts, the book publisher, expressed the significance of sharing Borg’s story and praised Patricia as the ideal person to narrate his journey.

Meanwhile, Sky has announced a discounted price for its Essential TV and Sky Sports bundle for the 2025/26 season, offering significant savings and access to over 1,400 live matches, including at least 215 live Premier League games, next season.
