A woman from the UK grew tired of men failing in a huge eating challenge, so she took matters into her own hands by flying to Benidorm and emerging victorious. Leah Shutkever, aged 35, set a new record at Uncle Ron’s café by finishing a 40-item full English breakfast in under seven minutes. This feat came after she witnessed unsuccessful attempts on social media and decided to show how it’s done.
Upon arrival in Spain, Leah wasted no time and swiftly consumed the extensive breakfast spread, consisting of multiple sausages, bacon rashers, fried eggs, hash browns, toast, tomatoes, baked beans, mushrooms, and fried bread. Her rapid completion of the challenge amazed the bar’s owner, who admitted Leah not only succeeded but did so in record time, leaving the male contestants in the dust.
Completing the notoriously difficult challenge, which only 3% of participants conquer, Leah finished in an impressive six minutes and 45 seconds. Despite her slender frame and stature, she opted for a hands-on approach rather than using utensils to devour the meal efficiently.
Expressing her motivation, Leah stated, “British men were not stepping up, so I took it upon myself to rectify the situation. I received numerous tags challenging me to represent the UK, as the previous attempts were quite embarrassing.” Confident in her abilities and experience, Leah intended to document her endeavor through video but ended up surprising everyone with her swift victory.
Following her triumph, Leah, who had fasted for about 16 hours beforehand, decided to enjoy a well-deserved two-day break in Benidorm before heading back home.
