A significant emergency response was witnessed at a park following the discovery of a woman’s body. The body of the woman was found in a lake at Roath Park, Cardiff, on Sunday morning after South Wales Police received a report around 8:30 am.
According to a spokesperson for the police force, the incident is not considered suspicious, and investigations into the circumstances surrounding her death are ongoing. The woman’s next of kin have been notified, and formal identification is scheduled for later on Sunday.
Throughout the morning, police and ambulance teams remained at the scene, with a white forensic tent set up at the water’s edge and cordoned off with police tape, as reported by WalesOnline. Earlier reports indicated the presence of around five police cars at the location.
