Apple’s annual WWDC Developers Conference is currently taking place at the company’s headquarters in Cupertino, California, with a host of updates for its products. The iPhone is set to receive new features later this year, offering enhanced customization, improved parental controls, quicker app launching, and a more intuitive Siri assistant. This release is expected to be a major hit, especially for users with devices compatible with Apple Intelligence.

Initially announced in 2024, Apple Intelligence faced challenges with some promised features not being delivered. However, the tech giant has been diligently working to enhance this service, and it appears ready to introduce the improvements to the public.

Upon its release in September, Apple Intelligence is expected to simplify users’ lives by assisting in calendar organization and providing contextual suggestions based on conversations in Messages. For instance, if a user receives a message requesting “photos of mum,” Apple Intelligence will quickly display relevant images from the photo library.

Updates to the Safari browser include a new feature called Notify Me, allowing users to monitor web pages for changes such as product restocks or price adjustments. Additionally, Safari now automatically organizes tabs by topic for improved browsing efficiency.

One of the standout features is the enhancements to photo editing capabilities enabled by the new Apple Intelligence. Users can now easily retouch images, remove unwanted elements from photos, extend backgrounds without specialized skills, and utilize Spatial Reframing to adjust composition post-capture.

Craig Federighi, Apple’s senior vice president of Software Engineering, emphasized the company’s commitment to integrating advanced technology into user-friendly products. The latest advancements in Apple Intelligence aim to provide personalized and practical features for web browsing, creative expression, photo editing, and more.

The updated Apple Intelligence is scheduled to debut with iOS 27 in the fall, available on various iPhone models including the iPhone 15 Pro, 15 Pro Max, iPhone 16 series, iPhone 17 models, and the iPhone Air.
