Malin + Goetz, a popular beauty brand, has entered administration, leading to the closure of its seven retail stores in the UK. The affected locations include outlets in London such as Seven Dials, Soho, Spitalfields, Islington, Canary Wharf, Battersea Power Station, and Borough Yards, impacting over 70 jobs.

To cope with the situation, online orders from Malin + Goetz have been temporarily halted. Visitors to the company’s website are greeted with a message stating that online orders are currently not being accepted but will resume shortly.

Despite this setback, customers can still purchase Malin + Goetz products through various third-party retailers like Liberty, John Lewis, and Space NK. The brand’s spokesperson expressed regret over the closure, citing the challenging decision to place the UK business into administration after exploring all options.

Reports suggest that Malin + Goetz’s website will undergo maintenance and return online soon, although the exact timeframe remains uncertain. Founded in New York in 2004 by Matthew Malin and Andrew Goetz, the brand initially offered a small range of products suitable for all skin types before expanding into fragrance, bodycare, and other beauty segments.
