A tragic road accident claimed the lives of four individuals and left five others injured in a serious crash that occurred during the early morning hours.
Images from the scene depicted the aftermath of the collision, which involved two vehicles on a quiet residential street in Deane, Bolton. The incident, believed to have included a car and a taxi, happened around 12:45 am. The front of a Citroen C4 Picasso was severely damaged, with photos revealing the crushed bodywork and the missing right doors.
The Citroen collided with a red Seat Leon, resulting in significant damage to the latter’s bumper and right side. The presence of law enforcement and emergency responders at the scene was evident, as the area was cordoned off for investigation.
According to Greater Manchester Police, three young men aged 18 and 19 lost their lives in the Seat car. Tragically, the driver of the Citroen, a man in his 50s, also perished in the crash.
A police spokesperson stated that five injured passengers were hospitalized for treatment, with an ongoing investigation at the scene. Authorities urged anyone with information, including eyewitnesses or individuals possessing dashcam/CCTV footage, to come forward.
The horrific collision resulted in extensive damage to the black Citroen C4 Picasso, while the red car claimed the lives of the three young men. The driver of the black car, a man in his 50s, met a tragic end in the accident.
Following the incident, Greater Manchester Police initiated an inquiry and appealed to the public to provide any relevant dashcam or CCTV recordings. The driver of the black car was sadly pronounced dead at the scene as emergency services swiftly responded and secured the crash site.
