Two teenagers were hospitalized after falling from a cliff at Berowra Valley National Park in Cherrybrook. The incident occurred around 5:15 pm on Friday, January 30. A 17-year-old boy sustained multiple injuries from the fall, while a 16-year-old girl was also injured and treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics.
Authorities from South Wales Police have initiated an investigation into the incident. A police spokesperson stated that emergency services responded to the scene and found the injured teenagers. The boy, in critical condition, is being stabilized by a medical team and will be transported to Royal North Shore Hospital. The girl, whose condition is reported as stable, was also taken to the same hospital.
Additionally, a 47-year-old woman at the scene received treatment for shock. The Hills Police Area Command officers are aiding paramedics and are joined by members of the Rural Fire Service in the ongoing operation.
