Attention fans of the popular TV series “Heated Rivalry”: The Straw + Berry won’t be serving smoothies to you, and the cottage is off-limits for now. The cast and crew are in the midst of filming Season 2, and Director Jacob Tierney has made a polite request for privacy through the show’s official Instagram account.
Season 2 of “Heated Rivalry” is currently being filmed in Toronto and Montreal, as reported by Production List. Fans have been eager to catch glimpses of the stars Hudson Williams and Connor Storrie, who were recently spotted together in downtown Toronto.
The show, known for its queer hockey romance theme, garnered global attention when it premiered in late 2025. Williams and Storrie have gained a significant fan following, prompting them to establish boundaries with admirers and photographers. Recent incidents include Storrie declining a fan’s request for a photo and Williams facing off alleged autograph-sellers in Paris.
In a similar vein, Sarah Polley’s film adaptation of “The Bell Jar,” featuring pop star Billie Eilish, has faced its share of public attention in Toronto despite efforts to maintain a closed set. Photos circulating on social media include shots taken by paparazzi and fans.
While the “Heated Rivalry” production team has appealed for space and respect during filming, the same level of public request has not been made by the film crew of “The Bell Jar.”
