An Ontario couple, Alannah MacLean and Kyle Heddle, along with their dog Diesel, chose a nomadic lifestyle exploring North America in their custom van home. Initially planning a brief stop in Labrador before heading to Newfoundland, they ended up extending their stay due to the captivating people they encountered and the unique experiences the region offered. Documenting their journey on their YouTube channel, Way of the Roads, they showcased stunning views using drones in various provinces. Their recent videos feature their adventures in Newfoundland and Labrador, including visits to scenic spots like Bell Island, the Baccalieu Trail, Gros Morne, and the abandoned Trinity Loop theme park. In Labrador, they captured encounters with icebergs, wildlife, and travels along the Trans-Labrador Highway. With 138 videos and 23,000 subscribers on their channel, the couple continues to share their outdoor escapades with a growing online audience. MacLean and Heddle’s relationship blossomed during the early days of the COVID-19 pandemic, leading them to embark on their outdoor exploration journey together. Embracing the freedom and beauty of the outdoors, they express their love for their current lifestyle and the experiences it brings.
