Motorola challenges Samsung’s Android dominance with the launch of the impressive Motorola Edge 70 Max. This new device boasts exceptional features that surpass even Samsung’s latest flagship Galaxy phones – a massive battery capacity and ultra-fast charging capability.

Inside the Edge 70 Max lies a substantial 7,100mAh silicon-carbon battery, designed for prolonged usage of streaming, gaming, and browsing between charges. Unlike conventional lithium-ion batteries in Samsung devices, the silicon-carbon technology in the Edge 70 Max provides higher energy density without adding bulk or weight to the phone.

When the battery needs a boost, Motorola offers rapid charging with its 90W TurboPower technology. Just six minutes of charging can provide enough power for a day, outshining Samsung’s 60W wired charging capabilities. DXOMARK has recognized the Edge 70 Max’s exceptional battery life and charging performance with its prestigious Gold Label.

Apart from its battery prowess, Motorola equips the Edge 70 Max with top-tier features. The phone boasts a sharp 6.82-inch Quad HD+ (2K) display and runs on Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 processor, catering to demanding tasks like gaming and AI operations. To manage heat during intense usage, a large vapour chamber cooling system is integrated.

Photography enthusiasts will appreciate the AI-powered camera system on the Edge 70 Max, featuring a 50MP Sony LYTIA 710 sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide camera, and a dedicated macro lens for close-up photography. The phone also offers premium elements like an aircraft-grade aluminium frame, Dolby Atmos stereo speakers, water resistance, and a sleek design available in Pantone Aqua Gray, Pantone Dark Shadow, and Pantone Ice Melt.

Wilkin Lee, Motorola’s Head of Marketing UK & Ireland, highlights the Edge 70 Max’s blend of aesthetics, performance, and usability, emphasizing its premium entertainment experience tailored for everyday use.

The Motorola Edge 70 Max is now available in the UK at a price of £699.99.
