Celebrity SAS participant Dani Dyer has opened up about her past relationships, referring to them as “terrible boyfriends,” during a conversation on the Channel 4 show. In the latest episode, the Directing Staff summoned Dani to discuss her struggles in a physical challenge.
During the chat, Jason ‘Foxy’ Fox asked Dani about her upbringing with her famous father, Danny Dyer, known for his roles in Human Traffic, The Football Factory, and EastEnders. Dani shared that despite perceptions of her dad as a tough guy, he is actually quite gentle. She described her mom as the tougher parent and expressed gratitude for her normal upbringing despite her father’s fame.
Reflecting on her teenage years, Dani admitted to not being a rebellious child but acknowledged her poor choices in partners. She emphasized that her parents always knew her whereabouts, and although she had insecurities, she aimed to become stronger and build self-belief.
Dani, who tied the knot with footballer Jarrod Bowen in May after giving birth to twins, Summer and Star, in 2023, had previously been in an on-off relationship with Sammy Kimmence. Following a split with co-star Jack Fincham, she reunited with Sammy and welcomed their son Santiago in 2021 before their separation due to Sammy’s legal issues.
Participating in Celebrity SAS was described by Dani as one of the toughest challenges she has faced. In a pre-show video shared on Instagram, she expressed both excitement and fear about the experience. In an exclusive interview with The Mirror, Dani discussed her evolving journey as a mother and her personal growth as her children mature.
