Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor reportedly influenced Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie to attend the Royal Family’s annual Christmas gathering so they could provide him with insights on the event. Andrew, who was stripped of his remaining titles by King Charles III and exiled to Sandringham, spent his previous Christmas at Royal Lodge. This year, his daughters and their families visited the Norfolk estate for the traditional Christmas mass at St Mary Magdalene church.
According to royal experts, Andrew insisted that his daughters attend the event to gather information about public opinions regarding him. Ingrid Seward, a prominent royal author, stated that Beatrice and Eugenie likely had no choice but to comply with Andrew’s request. She emphasized that they are Andrew’s main connection to the Royal Family now, suggesting his persuasive influence on them.
Former Sun royal correspondent Charles Rae supported this claim, suggesting that Andrew would eagerly seek information from the sisters upon their return. Andrew and Ms. Ferguson did not participate in the Sandringham gathering last year and have been absent for some time due to the ongoing Epstein controversy tarnishing Andrew’s reputation.
Andrew Lownie, another royal author, confirmed that Andrew is now permanently excluded from royal activities and considered a commoner. He remarked on the significant change in Andrew’s status and highlighted the potential for Ms. Ferguson to rebuild her reputation through reinvention.
Looking ahead, if Andrew and Ms. Ferguson are excluded from royal events this year, they will reside in a new property within the Sandringham estate. The couple’s future interactions with the Royal Family remain uncertain as they navigate their altered status within the royal circle.
