Virgin Media is running a special promotion offering customers a chance to receive a complimentary LG Smart TV valued at £250 before the conclusion of the FIFA World Cup. To qualify for this offer, customers need to sign up for one of four Virgin TV and broadband packages, each boasting a wide array of channels, free Netflix subscription, and the option to include Sky Sports and Cinema coverage. The available packages are Virgin’s Cinema, Sports, Cinema + Sports, or Max Volt bundles.

Upon availing of this promotion, customers can opt to receive either a 43” LG Ultra HD smart TV worth £249.99 or a £125 bill credit, providing substantial savings. However, time is limited as customers must claim this offer by 11.59 pm on Wednesday, May 27.

Virgin’s TV packages include over 200 channels and a complimentary Netflix subscription. The Cinema bundle at £44.99 per month features full Sky Cinema access and 362Mbps fibre broadband, while the Sport bundle at £54.99 per month replaces Sky Cinema with complete Sky Sports coverage. Customers can also combine both packages with the Sport + Cinema bundle at £64.99 per month, which includes a boost in broadband speed to 512Mbps. For those seeking an all-inclusive option, the Max Volt bundle at £76.99 per month offers over 230 TV channels, inclusive of Sky Cinema, Sky Sports, Netflix, 1,130Mbps broadband, and an unlimited O2 SIM.

To entice customers further, Virgin Media is also providing a complimentary 43″ LG smart TV or £125 bill credit for those switching to its Cinema, Sports, Cinema + Sports, or Max Volt TV bundles by May 27. Additionally, Virgin has introduced the One Touch Switch scheme, simplifying the process for new customers to switch without contacting their current provider.

It is important to note that Virgin’s monthly prices will increase by £4 every April, and customers should consider this while committing to the 24-month contracts. Sky is also making competitive offers ahead of the World Cup, reducing prices for its Glass smart TVs to as low as £4.50 per month. The Sky Glass Air model now starts at £11 (previously £14).

In the midst of these promotions, Amazon has launched its rebranded Fire TV range, unveiling the Ember Artline model at a discounted price to rival Samsung’s The Frame TV.

Virgin Media customers have shared positive feedback, praising the brand for its fast broadband speeds and excellent value. Reviews highlight the seamless installation process, variety of channels, and user-friendly features. Overall, Virgin customers have expressed satisfaction with their decision to switch, emphasizing ease of use, channel variety, broadband speed, and affordability.
