Tammara Thibeault, a 29-year-old boxer from Shawinigan, Quebec, achieved a significant milestone in her career by claiming victory over Australia’s Desley Robinson in a professional boxing match held in Orlando, Florida. Thibeault secured the unified IBF, WBO, and Ring Magazine middleweight world champion titles with a unanimous 100-90 decision by all three judges in her favor.

Having previously won the 2022 Commonwealth Games, Thibeault now boasts a professional record of 5-0 with three knockouts, maintaining her undefeated status. Following her win, she expressed gratitude during a post-fight interview, emphasizing the hard work and dedication she has invested in the sport.

In addition to her IBF and WBO titles, Thibeault also clinched the prestigious Ring Magazine middleweight championship, making her the fastest boxer to earn this esteemed title in her professional career. This victory marks another remarkable accomplishment for Thibeault, who has seamlessly transitioned from a successful amateur career to the pinnacle of the professional boxing world.
