President Donald Trump has expressed his opinion on his wife Melania’s new ambitious project in just two words. In a conversation with reporters about the First Lady’s upcoming Amazon documentary, he succinctly stated, “It’s incredible.”
Although he admitted to not having seen the completed film, Trump shared that the snippets he had viewed had left a strong impression on him. While aboard Air Force One earlier this month, he mentioned, “I’ve seen pieces of it, it’s incredible… She did a book, and the book was a number one bestseller, and this is a movie that seems to be capturing a lot of people’s attention.”
The story of how Trump and Melania met and her subtle jabs at her husband remains unknown to many. The documentary, named Melania, has been directed by the controversial Brett Ratner, with the First Lady serving as an executive producer, as reported by the Express US.
Scheduled to premiere at the Kennedy Center later this month before its nationwide release through Amazon MGM Studios, the film has generated anticipation. Trump also shared excitement about the upcoming premiere event, stating, “The premiere will be at the Trump Kennedy Center, it will be very exciting. It’s a very hard ticket, everybody, Wayne Gretzky and his wife Janet… Everyone wants tickets to the premiere. I think it’s going to be great.”
The documentary will provide an inside look at the President’s spouse in the 20 days leading up to his second term inauguration, showcasing an untold narrative with exclusive access. Initial previews reveal intimate behind-the-scenes footage featuring the family, officials, significant discussions, private interactions with influential individuals, and tender moments between Melania and her son Barron.
Melania is set to be released by Amazon in the United States on January 30, 2026. This production marks the return of Brett Ratner to the industry, following sexual misconduct allegations against him in 2017, as well as his connection to the Epstein Files through a photograph with Epstein associate Jean-Luc Brunel.
