Five teenagers have been apprehended on suspicion of homicide following the discovery of a deceased man in Stockton. Cleveland Police received a call to Egglescliffe Close in the Hardwick area around 6:50 pm on Saturday, where the 49-year-old man was found.
According to reports from TeessideLive, a 19-year-old male, two 18-year-old males, and two 17-year-old boys were taken into custody overnight on suspicion of murder.
Witnesses observed a significant police presence on Sunday morning, with a portion of a car wash and bushes cordoned off. Police had been present at the scene since approximately 8:00 pm.
Cleveland Police confirmed the arrests, stating that the individuals were apprehended in connection with the incident that occurred on Saturday evening.
